The Family Drug Court (FDC) Tutorial is intended for anyone interested in gaining basic and introductory knowledge of the FDC model and operation. Newly hired team members, local community stakeholders, and members from partner agencies who are looking to become acquainted with the FDC model will find this tutorial particularly helpful.
The FDC Tutorial is free and offered at no cost. The FDC Tutorial is designed and presented by the National Family Drug Court Training and Technical Assistance Program through the support of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Program (Award No. 2013‐DC‐BX‐K002)
Completion of all five modules will take approximately 4-5 hours. As you move through the modules, you will find links to resources, case studies, interactive questions, and information boxes to enhance your learning experience. You will be able to log off at anytime during a course (except when taking a Quiz) and resume where you left off at a later time.
The FDC Tutorial is divided into five modules and a Final Quiz. We recommend that you begin with Module One and work your way through Module Five. A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to those who complete all 5 modules and successfully pass the Final Quiz.
Unfortunately, no CEUs are offered at this time upon completion of the Tutorial. A Certificate of Completion will be provided for those who complete all 5 modules. The National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare does offer free CEUs for their Online Tutorials. Please visit www.ncsacw.samhsa.gov for more information.
